Potters Place is a cooperative, 501(c)(3) non-profit, pottery studio and school. In March of 2021 we moved out of our Walpole studio of 20 years to our new location at 6 Merchant St. in Sharon, MA.

We are pleased to offer our Class Schedule. Openings are on a very limited basis.

Please note that Kids and Teen classes are drop off only. Potters Place cannot accommodate parents, grandparents, or guardians in our studio during class times as space is quite limited. Thank you for your understanding.

Potters Place is now a ‘mask friendly’ studio. By “mask friendly”, we mean that we want everyone to feel comfortable making the decision on wearing a mask depending upon their individual circumstances. If individuals have compromising health conditions or other reasons to wear masks, we encourage this and ask others to be respectful of individual decisions.

Potters Place classes will adhere to safe practices for respiratory health and safety in accordance with the CDC and the Massachusetts Department of Public guidance for respiratory illnesses. For details, see the Safety Protocols identified in class registration form.

Whether you are interested in a one-time workshop or a 6-8 week series, our skilled instructors will inspire you to create functional and sculptural works of ceramics art. Most of our member artists started out as our students.

Support for our Community

December 27, 2024

“Thank you for your generous donation of $1,700 from your Holiday Sale this season. We appreciate your support and your donation directly impacts the children to participate in their chosen activity.

We are receiving phenomenal feedback from our families with the positive changes in their children who now get to improve their skills and meet friends of shared interests.

We spotlighted Sophia this year as a wonderful example of the impact we are making on children. Funded through ConfiKids since 2018, Sophia has grown in skill, expanded her social circles and grew in confidence tremendously over the past seven years. We are so proud of how she shared her story to help other children.

With your donation, you help make this happen. Thank you.”
